Isola del Garda is the only island located in the middle of Lake Garda, and on it stands the privately owned castle of San Felice del Benaco, with enchanting Venetian features. It constitutes a place of rare beauty, rich in history and scenic charm. This piece of land has changed its name over the centuries depending on the owners: Isola dei Frati, Isola Lechi, Isola Scotti, Isola De Ferrari, and then Isola Borghese. Today it belongs to the Borghese-Cavazza family and the person in charge of event organization is Alberta Cavazza.


Isola del Garda is the most exclusive wedding venue on Lake Garda. The places where you can celebrate the ceremony are under the main loggia or on the lakeside promenade, both with breathtaking views of the lake.

There is only one room where the bride can change, but unfortunately, it is very dark. It is characterized by an immense Italian garden, unique in all of Lombardy, designed by the Florentine architect Amerigo Vincenzo Pierallini and centered around a large exedra, all framed by the peaks of the mountains.

The garden, as well as the Villa, is enriched by sculptures by Gian Battista Locatelli and hosts three splendid fountains, an artificial grotto, and two magnificent terraces overlooking the lake, a perfect setting for a wedding ceremony or cake cutting in front of lake Garda.

This villa is perfect for a classy wedding where elegance reigns supreme. You can visit the property and enjoy the ancient frescoes and statues inside. Villa Bettoni is a historic place full of cultural charm that can be transformed into the location for your wedding in lake Garda.

For the wedding banquet, you can choose between the magnificent Main Hall, which can accommodate up to 100 people and preserves frescoes by Beniamino and Fabrizio Galliari, or the three Halls of the Noble Floor, also decorated with eighteenth-century frescoes and can accommodate up to 80 people. For a more intimate reception, you can opt for the Dining Room, which can accommodate up to 45 guests and is embellished with the grandiose paintings by Andrea Celesti.


The maximum capacity of guests that Villa Bettoni can accommodate for an event is 250, but unfortunately, it does not have rooms for you or your guests. 3. Villa San Vigilio, Garda

Celebrating your wedding at Villa San Vigilio on Lake Garda is truly an incredible experience. Villa San Vigilio is a Renaissance villa located on the San Vigilio point in Garda, built by the Venetian architect Michele San Micheli in the 1500s, and it's also one of the most elegant wedding venues on Lake Garda.


The villa can accommodate up to 200 guests and offers the possibility of celebrating the symbolic civil ceremony either inside the splendid villa or in the enchanting garden of lemon trees, oleanders, and cypresses. Full of charming corners and breathtaking views of Lake Garda, the moment for couple portraits can be captured in the villa's garden, on the belvedere roundabout adorned with architectural elements inspired by humanist culture, the little church, or the jetty over the water. In case of bad weather, the large main hall can also be used to celebrate the wedding, while in the lakeside loggia, tables are set up for dinner, leaving all the guests pleasantly impressed by the view of the lake and the Sirmione peninsula.


Unfortunately, the villa does not have guest rooms, but being attached to Garda, it offers the possibility of staying in the hotels in the village. It is an ancient Palladian-style villa built in the late 19th century. It is characterized by a lush centuries-old park surrounded by the lake, where hospitality, evocative atmosphere, and captivating views reign supreme.
